NS Health Coalition 2020 AGM

Due to the the outbreak of COVID-19, the Health Coalition will be re-scheduling our annual general meeting to May 28. In order to comply with social distancing rules the AGM will take place online, with an option to call in on a cell phone or landline.

The meeting will include reviewing the organization's finances, passing a 2020 budget, reviewing the political work of the organization over the last year, discussing the path forward in 2020-21 and the election of board members and trustees.

Reports from staff and table officers will be circulated via email on May 25th. Please ensure you register by that time. Participation in the meeting is open to any member of the Health Coalition.

* A note on Zoom: While Zoom has become the most popular video conferencing and meeting platform over the last few months, we do recognize that some people have valid concerns about the security of Zoom's software. We understand these concerns, but have decided to use Zoom's platform due to its easy of use, the ability for people more comfortable with traditional conference calls to use it, and the ability to easily scale to the size of the gathering. We do not anticipate discussing anything in the meeting that will necessitate high levels of operational security and the guest list will be tightly controlled.

Individuals who do not want to download Zoom's software or use it on their computer browser are encouraged to dial in to the conference call number which we will provide the week of the AGM.
