The Health Network is currently setting up Local Health Committees around Nova Scotia. These committees are not in competition with the Community Health Boards, which do amazing work representing their communities. The committees are designed to bring a broader provincial outlook to the health care debate. Below is a list of existing Local Health Committees: - The North Shore Citizens' Health Committee In the Halifax Regional Municipality we have a Metro Action Committee which is responsible for organizing actions and educational work in the HRM.
