Public Consultations No Smokescreen for Health Care Cuts Halifax, NS – The NDP Government's plan to hold public consultations around the province about the state of the economy and the decisions the province faces should not be used to undermine our public healthcare system, says the Nova Scotia Citizens' Health Care Network. “Whenever there are difficult decisions to be made, especially about social services like health care, it is important that governments engage in a broad, open and transparent process with people on the ground, around the province without predetermining healthcare cuts.” says Kyle Buott, Provincial Coordinator of the Health Network.
